2013 TRIPUI SPORTS FISHING TOURNAMENT

June 27 - 28 - 29, 2013

We would like to invite everyone to the 5^th Annual Tripui Sports Fishing Tournament.

Tournament format will be much the same as in previous years. All registration and evening events will be held at the Tripui Pool area.

Sign-up will be on Thursday June 27th. Fishing on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th.

Pot luck dinner will be held Friday night June 28th. The awards dinner will be held Saturday night, June 29th.

The purpose of this event has always been to raise donations for local Loreto area needy groups.

To that end, we'd like to summarize Tripui's contributions from previous tournaments:

2009 - Colonia Miramar School District: $8,300 in equipment and school supplies.
2010 - Ligui School - $7,000 in construction improvements, Bomberos training $1,000

and Bomberos kitchen $6,500.

2011 - CLAM (Old Folks) $6,500, Red Cross Ambulance repairs $1,300. 2011 Donation presented to CLAM
2012 - Colegio de Bachilleres School - material and equipment; Grupo AA Col. Miramar - air conditioning; Living Roots San Javier Training Center - building and materials; Bomberos; Computer de Octobre de 1697 School - 9 computer and school equipment. Total $8,000.

Donations are distributed after the Directors have interviewed and approved expenditures.

No cash is distributed.

Projects are managed and materials are purchased by Directors.

For the 2013 Tournament, we are currently considering the Loreto Internado School and Loreto School for the Handicap.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone for another fun-filled event.
